Cinema Fantasma is a stop-motion studio located at Mexico City.
We are a company integrated by creatives with one common vision: through the playful usage of cinematographic language and the multidisciplinary work spirit, create what we would like to see on screen.
We make films, tv series, animation, special effects, commercial bumpers, visual experimentation, art toys, audiovisuals, and other artistic projects.
We are from Mexico and we want to do something for our country.
The Ambriz Brothers, founders and directors of Cinema Fantasma
Roy & Arturo Ambriz, Mexican writers, directors and producers. Founders of Cinema Fantasma (stop-motion studio, Mexico City). They wrote and directed Revoltoso and the series Frankelda’s Book of Spooks, (Max, 2021). They are directing two feature films: Frankelda and the Prince of Spooks (in post-production), and Ballad of the Phoenix. They are producing a new series for Adult Swim, titled Women Wearing Shoulder Pads.
